Description

A corrective serum in the form of a lightweight emulsion with 0.07% retinal, phytosphingosine, and Carnosine 2.0, designed for evening care of the face, neck, and décolletage. It delivers effective anti-wrinkle and anti-acne action. The dermocosmetic visibly densifies and rejuvenates the skin, while the vitamin A derivative used in the formula exhibits antibacterial properties that help reduce imperfections.

EFFECTS:

  • Stable retinal is the final compound in the conversion pathway to retinoic acid (which cannot be used in cosmetic products). It is distinguished by antibacterial properties, making it beneficial for acne-prone skin, including rosacea. Due to its low irritation potential, it can be safely used on sensitive, rosacea-prone skin. Retinal effectively targets discoloration, delivers anti-aging benefits, reduces wrinkle depth, and improves skin elasticity and firmness.
  • Vitamin C in the form of 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid soothes micro-inflammatory changes and reduces redness, minimizing potential side effects of retinoid therapy while brightening the complexion and improving overall skin appearance.
  • Vitamin E (INCI: Tocopherol) together with coenzyme Q10 (INCI: Ubiquinone) form a powerful antioxidant duo that combats free radicals, soothes the skin, and slows down aging processes.
  • Ceramides NP and AP, acting as intercellular cement, support skin renewal and accelerate regenerative processes.
  • Carnosine 2.0, resistant to degradation, is significantly more effective than L-carnosine. It restores proper skin tension, helps prevent photoaging, brightens brown discoloration (PIH – Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation), and improves overall skin tone.
  • Phytosphingosine, a free sphingoid base naturally present in the skin and a component of ceramides, acts as a natural anti-inflammatory factor. It improves the appearance of acne-prone skin by reducing redness and irritation.
  • Phospholipids, serving as retinal carriers, stabilize the ingredient and reduce the risk of irritation.

RESULTS:

  • Visibly rejuvenated skin with slowed aging processes,
  • Reduced imperfections,
  • Less visible post-inflammatory erythema (PIE) and persistent hyperpigmentation (PIH),
  • Increased skin resistance to external aggressors,
  • Noticeably improved firmness and elasticity.

SUITABLE FOR SKIN THAT IS:

  • With imperfections and comedones,
  • With enlarged pores,
  • With post-acne scarring,
  • With post-inflammatory discoloration (PIE), persistent hyperpigmentation (PIH), and melasma,
  • Lacking firmness and elasticity,
  • Showing early signs of aging,
  • Wrinkled or mature.

How to use

Apply a small amount of serum in the evening to cleansed and dry skin, avoiding the eye and lip areas. After application, we recommend washing hands thoroughly. For first use, apply the serum alone to assess skin reaction. Ultimately, approx. 30–40 minutes after applying retinal, you may apply a Rich Ceramide Cream.
Store in a dry, dark place at room temperature.
Shelf life after opening: 6 months.

NOTE: The packaging may display a PAO of 3M; however, after additional testing, we confirm product stability for up to 6 months. In consideration of environmental impact, existing packaging with PAO 3M is not discarded, and updated information is applied to new batches.

HOW TO INTRODUCE RETINAL INTO YOUR ROUTINE:

Begin retinal use with a lower concentration (e.g., 0.07%), both when starting treatment for the first time and when resuming after a longer break. For the first two weeks, apply the serum every fourth evening. If no adverse effects occur, you may reduce the interval between applications by one day after each completed two-week cycle, as follows:

  • Weeks 1–2 – application every fourth evening,
  • Weeks 3–4 – application every third evening,
  • Weeks 5–6 – application every second evening.

At this stage, the retinal serum will be used four times per week. Only once the product is well tolerated at this frequency (not earlier) may you proceed to the next concentration – 0.15%. Take a 3-day break, then repeat the above schedule using the 0.15% vitamin A serum.

RECOMMENDATIONS AND WARNINGS:

  • Due to the retinal content, the product should not be used during pregnancy; use during breastfeeding should be consulted with a healthcare professional,
  • When using retinoids, apply very high sun protection daily, e.g., Light Protective Emulsion SPF 50+, and avoid sun exposure; year-round use is acceptable, however discontinue retinal approx. 4 weeks before planned intense sun exposure,
  • During the first weeks of use, redness, dryness, irritation, or flaking may occur – this is a result of the skin building tolerance to the active ingredient; in such cases, complement the routine with moisturizing, nourishing, and barrier-repairing products,
  • The serum may stain light-colored bedding and clothing; we recommend protecting pillows and using a stain remover if necessary – the color of the product results from retinal,
  • Dermatologically tested on sensitive skin,
  • Free from fragrance ingredients,
  • The formula is designed to minimize the risk of allergic reactions,
  • Vegan product.
