BasicLab – Dark Spot–Reducing Serum – Control and Brightening 30ml

A dark spot–reducing serum with a water-light texture, based on an advanced formula containing 10% azeloglycine, 3% tranexamic acid at an optimal concentration, and 2% alpha-arbutin. It restores an even skin tone by effectively brightening pigmentary changes while simultaneously limiting the formation of new discolorations.

EFFECTS:

• 10% azeloglycine (a complex of azelaic acid and glycine) effectively brightens skin affected by hyperpigmentation and soothes micro-inflammatory conditions, making it an ideal solution for acne-prone skin care.
• 3% tranexamic acid supports the unification of skin tone affected by discoloration caused, among others, by UV radiation. Thanks to its properties, it reduces and soothes redness, calming symptoms of rosacea.
• 2% alpha-arbutin brightens the skin and helps prevent the formation of new discolorations.
• Niacinamide included in the formula evens out skin tone, smooths fine lines, and provides hydration.
• Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, a vitamin C derivative, in combination with alpha-arbutin, effectively brightens existing discolorations.
• Licorice root extract brightens the skin, soothes irritation, reduces redness, and supports regeneration. Thanks to its antioxidant properties, it effectively protects against free radicals.

Apply a few drops of serum to the face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Do not use on damaged skin. Allow the product to fully absorb for approximately 2–3 minutes before applying the next step. Use in the morning and/or evening, depending on your needs.
Due to the high viscosity of active ingredients, to reduce a sticky finish we recommend sealing the serum with a cream or an emulsion serum, e.g., with trehalose or ceramides.
Storage: Store in the refrigerator.
Period after opening: 3 months.

RECOMMENDATIONS AND WARNINGS:

• As niacinamide loses efficacy at low pH, we do not recommend using this serum in the same routine (at the same time of day) as vitamin C serums Hydration and Glow or Firmness and Strengthening. However, vitamin C products may be safely used in the morning and the dark spot–reducing serum in the evening (or vice versa),
• During use, we recommend daily application of high sun protection SPF 50+ during the day, e.g., a lightweight protective emulsion,
• Dermatologically tested on sensitive skin,
• Free from fragrance ingredients,
• The color of the serum may vary from clear to straw-colored depending on the production batch due to the natural origin of active ingredients. A darker shade results from the use of licorice extract,
• The formula has been designed to minimize the risk of allergic reactions,
• Not suitable for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding,
• Vegan product.
