BasicLab – Smoothing Micro-Exfoliating Liquid with 2% BHA and an Exfoliating Tripeptide 100ml

The smoothing micro-exfoliating liquid is a year-round product that gently removes dead skin cells while cleansing the openings of the sebaceous glands. It effectively regulates sebum secretion, reduces existing acne lesions, and minimizes the tendency for new ones to form. With regular use, it visibly smooths skin texture and improves overall tone. Suitable for all skin types, it is particularly appreciated by those with acne-prone skin and a tendency toward comedones.

EFFECTS:

• 2% BHA (salicylic acid) in a controlled, gradual-release technology penetrates deep into pores, cleansing them from within. It regulates sebum secretion and gently exfoliates dead skin cells, smoothing the skin and accelerating epidermal renewal.
• The molecular complex of salicylic acid and acacia polysaccharides slowly releases BHA after application, ensuring high efficacy while minimizing the risk of irritation.
• Exfoliating tripeptide acts on cellular connections within the stratum corneum, supporting proper and even exfoliation. As a result, it smooths the epidermis, accelerates regeneration, restores radiance, supports the reduction of comedones, and minimizes the appearance of dry flakes.
• Arginine, an amino acid, provides moisturizing and soothing benefits, strengthens the hydrolipid barrier, and leaves the skin soft and smooth.

SUITABLE FOR SKIN THAT IS:

• All skin types, including with open and closed comedones,
• With enlarged pores, lacking smoothness and radiance,
• With keratosis pilaris,
• With post-inflammatory discoloration (red marks).

Apply a small amount of the liquid in the evening to cleansed and dried skin of the face and neck, avoiding the eye and mouth area. Wash your hands after application.
Use the micro-exfoliating liquid only in the evening, in quantities adjusted to your skin’s needs (every few days or even daily).
During acid treatments, the skin becomes more sensitive to sunlight. The liquid can be used all year round; however, daily application of high sun protection SPF 50+ is essential, e.g., the Light Protective Emulsion SPF 50+. Reapply it every 2–3 hours throughout the day.

Note: Before using the liquid, it is advisable to perform a patch test on the inner elbow — apply a small amount of the product to clean, dry skin in the elbow crease, rinse off after 10 minutes, and observe for the next 24 hours. If any adverse skin reaction occurs, discontinue use.
You may also use the liquid on the skin of the body, avoiding mucous membranes, e.g., on the back, décolleté, or areas affected by acne or discoloration.

Store in a dry and dark place.
Product shelf life after opening: 6 months.

RECOMMENDATIONS AND WARNINGS:

• Do not use on damaged or irritated skin,
• During use, we recommend incorporating products that support the hydrolipid barrier into your skincare routine,
• Do not combine this product in the same routine (at the same time of day) with retinol serums, and do not use during oral isotretinoin therapy,
• At the initial stage of use, you may notice increased skin shine, which is a natural reaction to salicylic acid and results from pore cleansing of excess sebum,
• Dermatologically tested on sensitive skin,
