BasicLab – Stimulating Smoothing Serum, 0.3% Adapalene Acid Ester, 5% Collagen Polypeptide Complex, 0.25% PDRN – Renewal and Reduction 30ml

The stimulating smoothing serum is an advanced formula developed for skin in need of smoothing, regeneration, and tone unification. A synergistic combination of next-generation active ingredients improves skin structure and elasticity while evening out the complexion, all while minimizing the risk of irritation.
It is an excellent solution for sensitive skin that struggles to build tolerance to first-generation retinoids.

EFFECTS:

• 0.3% adapalene acid ester (Adapinoid®) – a precursor of third-generation retinoids which, thanks to bioactivation, effectively penetrates deeper layers of the epidermis. It works on multiple levels: targeting signs of aging, hyperpigmentation, and imperfections. It increases collagen synthesis, improving skin structure, stimulates epidermal exfoliation, and regulates sebaceous gland activity, limiting the formation of comedones and micro-inflammatory lesions. It evens out skin tone by reducing discoloration and redness. Provides highly effective care with minimal irritation risk, making it an excellent option for sensitive skin.
• 0.25% pure PDRN – the sodium salt of deoxyribonucleic acid with regenerative and anti-aging properties. It delivers an immediate tightening effect and supports epidermal repair processes. Additionally, it acts as a powerful antioxidant, protecting the skin from oxidative stress and UV-induced damage. Thanks to its hygroscopic properties, it binds water in the epidermis, providing hydration and soothing micro-inflammatory conditions.
• 5% bio-compatible collagen polypeptide complex – positively influences the dermal-epidermal junction, ensuring firmness and elasticity. It protects collagen fibers from degradation, supports natural repair processes, and promotes collagen biostimulation, increasing skin elasticity. It also contributes to the optical smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles.
• Ceramide analog – exhibits functionality similar to naturally occurring epidermal ceramides. It supports the reconstruction of the hydrolipid barrier, soothes and moisturizes dry skin, and improves resistance to harmful external factors.

SUITABLE FOR SKIN THAT IS:

Apply an appropriate amount of serum (approx. 2 pumps) in the evening to cleansed skin of the face, neck, and décolletage, avoiding the eye and lip areas. During treatment with adapalene acid ester, avoid direct sun exposure and protect the skin with a minimum SPF 50 sunscreen, e.g., a Tinted Protective Emulsion SPF 50+. Do not apply to damaged or irritated skin.

HOW TO INTRODUCE ADAPALENE ACID ESTER (ADAPINOID®) INTO YOUR ROUTINE:

Begin using the 0.3% adapalene acid ester every third evening for the first two weeks. If no adverse effects occur during this period, you may shorten the interval between applications by one day after each completed two-week cycle, as follows:

• Weeks 1–2 – application every third evening,
• Weeks 3–4 – application every second evening.

At this stage, the serum will be used four times per week. Only once the product is well tolerated at this frequency may you move on to the next concentration – 0.5%, available in the Stimulating Smoothing Serum COSMETOLOGY version. Please refer to the usage protocol provided for the COSMETOLOGY version.

RECOMMENDATIONS AND WARNINGS:

• Due to the content of adapalene acid ester, the product should not be used during pregnancy. Use during breastfeeding should be consulted with a healthcare professional,
• Treatment with adapalene acid ester requires daily use of high sun protection, minimum SPF 50, e.g., Light Protective Emulsion SPF 50 PPD 52.3. Year-round use is acceptable; however, if adequate sun protection cannot be ensured during summer, it is recommended to begin treatment in the autumn–winter season,
• During the first weeks of use, redness, dryness, irritation, or flaking may occur – this is a result of the skin building tolerance to the active ingredient. In such cases, complement the routine with moisturizing, nourishing, and barrier-rebuilding products,
• Dermatologically tested on sensitive skin,
• Free from fragrance ingredients,
• The formula is designed to minimize the risk of allergic reactions.
